Making Samples

I like making samples even though it's time consuming. In my life i've made 1,000+. Mine focus on music rather than sound fx. I have no interest in recording a toilet flush, lol. Music samples is my thing. I'm bord that's why i rambled this post off.

Dark Audio

i like dark audio. dusty old samples sound cool. This is going to be rambling cuz i'm sleepy like rip Van winkle. ZZz sound good about now. I wonder if dark electronic music will give off a nightmare if listened to as one is about to fall asleep.

Kind of getting sick of Twitter... not the service but the tredy ot whatever they call it topics on the search page. It's always anoying junk. most people are uncool , lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

The Death of Audio Samples

The Death of Audio Samples... almost, lol. I'm preparing to kill of my "audio samples" website in favor of a drum samples one. When people look up audio samples online i think they are really looking for audio clips from movies and tv shows. So i feel i have to switch my URL to a better named one. only cost was $2 and 3 years, lol.

Drum Samples Fluke

Flukes are how i make most of my drum samples. Really just trial and error. Make as many as i can and then sort through them. I save some of the duds in case i figure out a new way to make them bang later on. I made 267 to get 100 that i like, lol. Took like 2 - 3 weeks to make. I got slowed down because the power button on my computer was acting up. I had to take apart my computer to remove it. Never did that before.

I hope Summer 2009 is a good one.

The Music Matrix

The music matrix is the major labels and music media. People need to wake up/unplug themselves from it. When they do they will find NEW music artists that are just as good if not better than the stuff that is controlled and forced on them. One can only take the same 50 artist still being shoved at them year after year for so long before they finally revolt.

DJ Samples

My DJ Samples webpage is #10. :) That's cool. Good thing i took the time in 2006 to learn how to make websites. I've got to find the time to make 100 instryument samples. Then i'll have 1,000 samples in total. After that the fun begins... making samples that are paid downloads.

Audio Sample Sites

Seems like a new audio samples website pops up each month. All seem good. Sounds are sounds. I think it's funny when people hate on sounds. SO lame. I see it on some forums. lol.

I'm finishing up the free section of my site. Only 100 more sounds to make. :)

Audio Music Whatevers

I made 75 drum loops in a week. The total i have now is 100. Designed the page for them but didn't put the ad on yet so it's not live. Total samples is at 900 now. Got to make 100 more to finish my 1,000 free pack.

Other stuff... got MusicSkull but don't know what i'll do with it. Maybe a blog or net label or whatever.

Sample Bank

I have a folder named "SampleBank" on my computer and that's where i put all of my downloaded audio samples i get off of the internet. I try to be more organized nowadays. I also have a "ChopShop" folder too. I burn to cd/disk every couple of months for backup. Better safe than sorry.

Audio Samples 1

So i have 750 audio samples on my one site. 250 more and it's like a have a somewhat full construction kit for music production. Maybe i'll finish/make those 250 samples before the end of the year... but i doubt it.
